City to battle with Reds for Ryan from Bayern

Man City will play with Liverpool for the signing of Ryan with the Premier League set to miss out on Jude. Borussia and England midfielder Bellingham appear to be edging closer to a move to Real Madrid, dashing hopes of a switch to the English top flight. Manchester City along with Liverpool were on the 19-year-old but will turn their attention to Bayern Munich’s international Gravenberch.

The Netherlands international’s future in Bavaria is uncertain after a difficult first season since joining Ajax last summer. Klopp’s men were said to be pursuing a move for the 20-year-old, after pulling out of the run for Bellingham, but they will face stiff competition from their wealthy rivals. A report in the Sunday Mirror claims Gravenberch is on Guardiola’s list of potential reinforcements as he looks to strengthen his midfield over the summer. Both  Gundogan and  Silva have been linked with the exit door, while Kalvin has struggled since joining from Leeds at the start of the campaign. Gravenberch has made 21 Bundesliga appearances this season but just two of those have come from the start. But the 11-cap international still has a strong reputation from his time in the Eredivisie and is expected to garner plenty of interest should he leave Germany during the off-season.
