Manuel Lanzini is to leave West Ham according to eight years with the club by June end

Best Sports brings this news in big chunks: Manuel Lanzini is to leave West Ham when his contract expires by June end

The Argentinian midfielder joined the Hammers from United Arab Emirates side Jazira in the summer of 2015 and has made 226 surfaces, scoring 32 goal wins. Manuel Lanzini’s most momentous moment was his long-range counterbalance at Tottenham in 2020 as West Ham came from 3-0 down to snatch a 3-3 goal draw. The 30-year-old has been connected with a return to Argentina and the former club River Plate.

Manager Moyes said this to the club’s website: “Lanzini is an outstanding professional player, a good lad, so any club he joins, he will have an excellent player on their hands. We are downhearted to see him leave the club, but he warrants the occasion to play more regularly anywhere he goes, and we wish him well in his next adventure.”
