Hitchins (19-0, 7KOs) looked set in stone with his physique cut like a statue. By contrast, Paro (25-0, 15 KOs) didn’t look as well-trained and had dark circles under both eyes, suggesting he had some restless nights, perhaps worrying about the risky fight ahead.
Paro, 28, cannot afford to lose this fight as he has a big money fight against his fellow Australian, George Kambosos, which will be considered as the next fight if he wins.
“It’s the crucial moment. The speech is over. I’m ready to come in and put on a show,” Liam Paro said after taking a nap. “I’m just one sleep away from finding out what it’s all about.”

“It’s fantastic. I belong to the world class. My talent belongs to no one else. If I were to fight any kind of different competition, it would be some kind of bullying,” Richardson Hitchins said.
“I would have to fight the best guys in the world, because the fans would call it anyway. I want to thank Eddie Hearn for giving me this opportunity. There were no easy fights to get to a world title. I earned my place to get to the world title.
“It wasn’t like I was a No. 1 guy. 2 or n. 3 and Eddie called me asking if I would like to fight for a world title. I had to earn my place and that’s what I did. For the fans out there, I’m finally here. I finally made it to the championship and tomorrow night we will have a great performance and I will continue to show the world what brought me here. That I’m an all-around amazing fighter,” Hitchins said.
