In an Instagram post shared on Sunday evening, the former US national featherweight champion detailed the Mayweather Israel Initiative, a plan that will see the “Floyd Mobile” visit every orphan in Israel and deliver special birthday gifts. The launch coincided with Mayweather’s appearance at the Standing Together event in Israel, just hours before his online announcement.

“Over the next year, every orphan in Israel will be visited by the Floyd Mobile and receive special birthday gifts,” Mayweather wrote. “To all the widows and orphans: keep your heads held high as we honor the fond memories of those who have passed away.”

Mayweather extended his gratitude to Shai Graucher, founder of Chessed V’Rachamim (also known as Standing Together), an organization known for a number of charitable initiatives, including supporting IDF bases and organizing trips for widows and orphans.

After the events of October 7, Mayweather openly expressed his support for Israel. He was among the first high-profile figures to visit the country after the attacks and has consistently contributed to Israeli organizations, including United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom.
