PHOENIX — Grand Canyon will play its final season in the Western Athletic Conference in 2025. With a move to the Mountain West looming on the horizon, now is probably the perfect time to reflect on GCU baseball’s dominant run in the WAC. With Andy Stankiewicz at the helm, the Lopes won their first WAC regular season title in 2015. To say this program was just getting started would be the understatement of the century. Titles from 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2022 soon followed.
